Like so many of us, I know what it's like to get a new puppy and figure out how to do everything on your own.I felt overwhelmed when faced with many obstacles. Nothing i did seemed to be enough for the puppy's needs.

Just like any new dog owner, I knew puppies could be a handful. So, when I adopted Memphis, my now rescue dog, I was really at a loss for what to do.

I spent over 15 years of my life playing sports, then one day I was diagnosed with lyme disease and everything changed. I struggled for years with the changes while trying to find myself.  

I started working at a local dog daycare. Not long after I started this new job, my whole life changed for the better. I found Memphis, my now rescue dog. 
Memphis- my rescue dog- helped me find myself again and bring back that confidence that i once knew.  

After adoption, Memphis quickly was becoming more and more out of control. I tried everything, read every forum post and even researched extensively for answers. Nothing seemed to work. I was at a point where I didn't know what else to do or if things would ever get better. Then one day, it hit me.

Becoming a certified dog trainer literally changed my relationship with Memphis, from one-sided to completely equal.
